Two opportunities for Therapeutic Radiographers to join a radiotherapy department delivering cancer treatment. You will provide accurate, safe radiotherapy treatment while supporting patients through their care journey.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver radiotherapy treatments using linear accelerators and related technology.
- Perform image-guided radiotherapy checks to ensure treatment accuracy.
- Provide information, reassurance and support to patients during treatment.
- Monitor patients for side effects and refer to the wider team where needed.
- Supervise and support students and junior radiographers.
- Follow radiation protection regulations (IR(ME)R) and departmental quality standards.
