We are currently recruiting a Trade Sales Manager within the Windows, Doors & Conservatories sector. The successful candidate will focus on building and managing relationships with trade customers (like builders, developers, and installers) who purchase windows and doors for projects. They are responsible for driving sales within the trade channel, setting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- To build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- To generate new leads, and promote sales through various methods, including online marketing, networking, and direct outreach.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets set by the company.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the company’s Window, Door & Conservatory products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and payment options with trade customers, and close sales effectively.
- Provide technical support to trade customers, assisting with product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Track sales performance, analyse data, and provide reports to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- You must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of trade customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers.
- Have experience in sales techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Window, Door & Conservatory products.
- Able to identify and resolve problems effectively with trade customers.
- Good time management skills, able to manage time effectively and prioritise daily tasks.
- Full responsibility of managing the trade counter and products.
