Are you looking for a new opportunity? Our client, based in the heart of Northamptonshire, is searching for an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join their team. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing our client's products. You'll be responsible for the production of hand samples & panels and the fulfilment of sample orders.

Working hours: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £27K

Responsibilities:
  • Neat cutting of timber hand samples and panels for clients and showrooms (training provided)
  • Using an industrial saw
  • Accurately label all samples for clear and easy identification
  • Pick, wrap, and pack samples for same-day dispatch
  • Record the dispatch of all samples on the company’s CRM
  • Manifest the shipments with the parcel carrier and assist with any transport questions
  • Receive and unpack deliveries and ensure stock is put away in the correct location
Skills & Experience:
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to follow structured processes and instructions easily, without deviation
  • Manual lifting
  • Happy to use an industrial saw daily
  • Good team player, willing to be flexible and support team members
  • Able to cope with setbacks and adapt to change
  • Intermediate computer skills
