Our client is expanding their high-performance engineering team and is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Hypermill skills to support the production of complex, high-precision F1 components.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for programming 3–5 axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill, producing highly accurate parts for F1 and high-performance engineering applications. This role involves working closely with the machining team to optimise tooling, strategies, and machining methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimise CNC programs using Hypermill
- Develop machining strategies for complex 3–5 axis components
- Support setters/operators with tooling, fixtures, and setup information
- Work closely with engineering to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
- Ensure programs achieve the required quality, tolerances, and lead times
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience using Hypermill for 3–5 axis programming
- Deep understanding of CAD/CAM and precision machining
- Experience producing tight-tolerance, high-performance, or F1-grade components
- Ability to develop efficient machining strategies and solve machining challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
