An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established and expanding commercial vehicle business based in Bedford. This is a varied role offering a great mix of workshop-based repairs, customer site visits, and occasional roadside assistance. You'll be working on a wide range of heavy goods vehicles, supporting customers including local authorities, emergency services, and commercial fleet operators. The Role
Working from a modern, well-equipped workshop in Bedford, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing HGVs to a high standard. The role also includes attending customer sites for planned maintenance and repairs, together with occasional roadside breakdown support.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
- Complete MOT preparation and preventative maintenance.
