Accounts Supervisor Milton Keynes My client, a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers, is looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join their growing and dynamic team. With a strong presence in the region and an international network of professional firms, they provide expert advice to businesses and individuals across the UK and worldwide. The firm prides itself on its ethos of "friendly expertise," prioritizing client success while also being committed to supporting local communities and sustainability initiatives. Role Responsibilities:  Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for sole traders, companies, and partnerships.  Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.  Client management accounting (knowledge of Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks preferred but not essential).  Accurate data entry and updating financial records.  Processing journals and finalizing accounts.  Managing accounts work, including oversight of outsourced providers. Ideal Candidate Profile:  Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (continuing with studies is not required), AAT Level 4, or qualified by experience.  Educated to BTEC or A-Level standard.  Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.  Strong IT skills and competency with accounting software.  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Employment Details & Benefits:  Full-time role, Monday to Friday.  Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.  Right to work in the UK required. Benefits include:  Annual Christmas bonus equivalent to one week's salary.  Salary sacrifice pension scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) – subject to eligibility.  Private medical insurance after three months (taxable benefit).  Death in service cover (4x salary).  Group income protection scheme (non-contributory) after three months.  23 or 25 days of annual leave (pro rata), with three days typically taken at Christmas/New Year (dependent on study status).
