Pro Staff Construction are working with a growing new build housing developer who are looking to strengthen their land team with the appointment of an experienced Land Buyer. With ambitious growth plans and a strong pipeline of residential projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the business.
The Role:
As a Land Buyer, you will be responsible for leading the identification and acquisition of land opportunities for residential development. You’ll bring proven experience, a strong network, and the ability to deliver deals from initial approach through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, negotiate, and secure land opportunities across the South West and Midlands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, promoters, and local authorities.
- Lead appraisals, financial modelling, and due diligence on potential acquisitions.
- Prepare and present offers, ensuring commercial viability and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with directors, planning, and technical teams to progress acquisitions smoothly into development.
- Keep up to date with planning policy, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a Land Buyer or Senior Land Buyer, ideally with a residential developer.
- Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and securing land opportunities.
- Excellent market knowledge and established contacts within the South West and Midlands.
- Strong negotiation, commercial, and communication skills.
- Ambitious, proactive, and able to operate with autonomy.
