Pro Staff is working with a Groundworks Contractor based in South Wales that is looking to recruit a Civil Quantity Surveyor to join their procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

• Site measurements and preparations of weekly cost and production reports.
• Undertake cost forecasts
• Management of subcontractors including enquiries, order placement, payment assessments
• Interpret drawings and instructions and agree estimates with site teams and clients
• The production of valuations and submission to clients
• Liaise with subcontractors to agree rates and services
• Agree final accounts with all parties

Requirements

• QS Degree or equivalent
• Civil Engineering experience – Grounds for new build residential and commercial projects
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to work to deadlines
• Good communication and negotiation skills
