This is a varied and hands-on position for someone who is confident with both labouring duties and driving. You will start each day from home with the company's pick-up van, with your first 3-4 hours usually pre-planned by the Contracts Manager the night before which will be sent to the tablet. Your day will consist of a mixture of:
- Planned material collections and drop-offs
- General skilled labouring tasks
- Supporting site teams
- Responding to last-minute or ad-hoc requirements across multiple projects
Daily commutes will typically involve 300-500 miles per day, depending on site locations and workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, transport, and deliver materials between suppliers and sites
- Assist with strip outs, clearances, and general labouring activities
- Support trades and site teams as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of sites and materials
- Follow daily schedules issued via tablet/smartphone
- Conduct basic checks and maintenance of the company vehicle
- Represent Beaumont & Partners in a polite, professional manner
- Work flexibly to meet last-minute and changing site requirements
Requirements
