An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join a growing construction business and play a key role in supporting both head office and site-based teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys being a trusted advisor across all areas of people operations.
What you'll be involved in:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across office, site and trade roles
- Supporting workforce planning for live and upcoming projects
- Acting as the primary HR contact for site teams
- Handling ER matters, absence, grievances and performance processes
- Maintaining HR systems (Breathe HR), compliance records and reports
- Coordinating training, qualifications, renewals and medical declarations
- Ensuring full HR, GDPR and construction-related compliance
- Supporting payroll accuracy, pay reviews and HR reporting
About you:
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
- 3 years within HR experience
- Strong understanding of employment law, compliance and vetting
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
