As a Plumbing and Heating Lead Engineer, you will be managing a team of 15 operatives and accountable to the Property Maintenance Operations Manager for successful delivery of Property Maintenance teams work projects. You will provide support across several allocated sites in surveying and oversight of mechanical works, combined with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining a project team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver the project.
- Leading the mechanical project team members creating a positive team working environment and training apprentices.
- Implementing and maintaining effective communication to the project team.
- Controlling scope and cost to the agreed project KPIs.
- Maintain regular involvement of and communications with the Property Maintenance Management Team.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
- Experience of executing most of the project management competencies by managing a number of projects in compliance with safety standards and in compliance with company's ISO policies procedure with oversight of work site safety to provide quality work and client and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused tempered with a team-centred approach.
- A strong conflict manager with a firm and assertive approach but take the analytical approach with a 'can do' problem solving ability.
- A proven understanding of various Mechanical systems with both Gas and OFTEC qualifications.
