An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join a growing construction business and play a key role in supporting both head office and site-based teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys being a trusted advisor across all areas of people operations.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across office, site and trade roles
  • Supporting workforce planning for live and upcoming projects
  • Acting as the primary HR contact for site teams
  • Handling ER matters, absence, grievances and performance processes
  • Maintaining HR systems (Breathe HR), compliance records and reports
  • Coordinating training, qualifications, renewals and medical declarations
  • Ensuring full HR, GDPR and construction-related compliance
  • Supporting payroll accuracy, pay reviews and HR reporting

About you:

  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
  • 3 years within HR experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance and vetting
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
