Pro Staff are working with a growing construction company that specialises in HMO and commercial-to-residential conversion projects and are looking to recruit a Construction Buyer / Procurement Manager on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procuring materials, plant, labour and subcontract packages
- Obtaining and negotiating supplier quotations
- Raising purchase orders and managing deliveries
- Supporting project programmes and procurement schedules
- Building and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting budget control
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Construction Buyer or Procurement role
- Strong negotiation and organisational skills
- Good understanding of construction materials and supply chains
