Pro Staff are working with a growing construction company that specialises in HMO and commercial-to-residential conversion projects and are looking to recruit a Construction Buyer / Procurement Manager on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procuring materials, plant, labour and subcontract packages
  • Obtaining and negotiating supplier quotations
  • Raising purchase orders and managing deliveries
  • Supporting project programmes and procurement schedules
  • Building and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting budget control

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Construction Buyer or Procurement role
  • Strong negotiation and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of construction materials and supply chains

This role is full time office based so the ideal candidate will be local to the Darlington area.
