Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Three Bridges Care to recruit a Registered Manager for their children’s home in South Shields.

The Role

  • Hold registration with Ofsted and take overall responsibility for the home's care, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, building a stable and child-centred culture.
  • Ensure care planning, risk management, and safeguarding practice meet the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Manage admissions, matching, and transitions so that placements are right for the children.
  • Work closely with placing authorities, schools, health partners, and families.
  • Drive continuous improvement in preparation for Ofsted inspection.

About You

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete it.
  • Experience in children's residential care at Deputy or Registered Manager level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted framework.
  • A child-centred leadership style with the resilience to manage complexity and risk.
