Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Northamptonshire Children's Trust to recruit Social Workers to join their Safeguarding Teams. The Trust offers safeguarding practitioners a £6,000 Golden Hello alongside a service that has been rebuilt around the basics done well: manageable caseloads, visible leadership, and supervision that actually happens.
The Role
- Manage children subject to child in need and child protection plans, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
- Complete high-quality, strengths-based assessments that clearly analyse risk, need, and protective factors.
- Build purposeful and trusting relationships with children, young people, and families.
- Develop and review safety and support plans that reduce risk and promote family resilience.
- Prepare clear, analytical reports for conferences, reviews, and court where required.
About You
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
- Post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Confidence working with complexity, risk, and multi-agency partners.
- A clear commitment to relationship-based and strengths-led practice.
