Senior Social Worker – Family Help (Permanent) Location: Sandwell, West Midlands Salary: £44,253 – £49,817 (dependent on experience) Retention Payment: £2,500 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with Sandwell Children's Trust to recruit experienced Senior Social Workers into their Family Help teams. The Role * Hold a caseload of more complex work and act as a source of practice expertise for the team. * Support, mentor and co-work with newly qualified and less experienced colleagues. * Hold a caseload of children and families within the Family Help service, working across Child in Need and Child Protection. * Complete high-quality assessments, plans and reports within statutory timescales. * Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and create lasting change. * Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, child protection conferences and core groups. * Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments and planning. About You * A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. * Post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care, ideally in Family Help, CIN or CP. * Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. * Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
