About North Star Children's Homes

North Star is an independent, Ofsted registered provider running four small, therapeutic children's homes across Surrey and Berkshire. We support young people with EBD, CSE, CCE and mental health needs in homes designed to keep care personal and therapeutic.

The role

You will hold registration with Ofsted for the home and be accountable for the quality, safety and outcomes of the children we look after. You will lead the team, set the culture, manage compliance against the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF, and report directly to the Responsible Individual.

You will need (essential):

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Management for Residential Childcare (must hold)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager
  • Direct experience managing homes for young people with EBD, CSE, CCE and mental health needs
  • A strong inspection track record (Good or better)
  • Right to work in the UK

Hours and holiday

40 hours per week, 22 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays. Standard 9 to 5, flexing with the needs of the home.
