Social Worker – Safeguarding / Court Team (Permanent) Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Salary: £40,369 – £43,686 (package up to £49,686) Golden Hello: £6,000 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working with Northamptonshire Children's Trust to recruit permanent Social Workers into both their Safeguarding and Court teams. The Role * Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans. * Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families. * Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings. * Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children. * Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning. * Court Team roles: manage care proceedings and PLO, writing court statements and giving evidence. About You * A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. * Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings. * Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. * Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
