Social Worker – Family Safeguarding (Permanent) Location: Newbury, West Berkshire Salary: £34,834 – £44,075 (package up to £53,075) Market Supplement: £6,000 Retention Payment: £3,000 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working with West Berkshire Council to recruit permanent Social Workers into their Family Safeguarding service, a multi-disciplinary model working alongside adult-focused practitioners. The Role * Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans. * Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families. * Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings. * Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children. * Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning. About You * A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. * Post-qualifying experience in children's safeguarding. * Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. * Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
