Social Worker – Family Help (Permanent) Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Salary: £40,444 – £42,123 (package up to £48,123) Golden Hello: £4,000 Retention Payment: £2,000 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working with Gloucestershire County Council to recruit permanent Social Workers into their Family Help service. The Role * Hold a caseload of children and families within the Family Help service, working across Child in Need and Child Protection. * Complete high-quality assessments, plans and reports within statutory timescales. * Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and create lasting change. * Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, child protection conferences and core groups. * Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments and planning. About You * A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. * Experience within Children's Social Care. * Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. * Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
