Social Worker, Children with Disabilities with Bournemouth Council in Bournemouth, Dorset. A permanent, full time post recruited by Pro Social Partners.

The role

In Children with Disabilities you will hold a caseload of children with complex needs: assessments, short breaks, safeguarding where required, and transition work with health and education partners who know your name.

What the work is

Long term work with disabled children and their families. Care packages, short breaks, education health and care plans and transition to adult services. Relationships here run for years rather than weeks.

Why it could suit you

CWD offers depth over churn: longer relationships with families, smaller caseloads and multi-agency work where your assessment genuinely shapes the support a child receives.

  • Salary £45,529 to £49,817 a year
  • Total package up to £49,817

Benefits

  • Deeper, longer-term casework
  • Coastal living with real frontline work
  • Settled multi-agency partnerships

About Bournemouth Council
