Welcome to the Sales Development Representative Role. This is a key entry-to-intermediate role reporting to the Head of Sales, where you will be the first point of contact for prospective Arlo customers. As a Sales Development Representative, you will turn inbound interest and targeted outreach into a high-quality sales pipeline. You’ll play a direct role in driving revenue growth while developing strong foundations in modern SaaS sales. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with Sales Consultants, Marketing, and the wider team to ensure every opportunity is well-qualified and positioned for success. With a mix of inbound (80%) and outbound (20%) activity, you’ll gain exposure to the full early-stage sales process and build skills that set you up for long-term career growth in sales.

What You’ll Be Doing (Your Impact)

  • Your primary focus will be qualifying leads, building pipeline, and creating opportunities for the sales team.
  • Lead Qualification & Pipeline Generation: Respond to inbound enquiries, run structured discovery calls, and qualify prospects against ideal customer profiles.
  • Lead Nurturing: Build relationships with early-stage prospects through personalised, value-driven communication.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage new prospects through targeted outreach across phone, email, and social channels.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, track performance metrics, and continuously refine outreach and qualification techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Consultants to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities and contribute insights to improve targeting.
  • Customer Engagement: Represent Arlo professionally in conversations, demos, and occasionally at events or conferences.

What You’ll Bring (Your Expertise)

  • 1+ years in sales, SDR/BDR, or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology sales is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed targets or KPIs.
  • Experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.
