Telecoms Civil engineer / Civil Gang We are hiring for an award-winning company offering an exceptional opportunity to join them on a long term basis. Start date of Telecoms Civil Engineer / Civil Gang – Immediate start available. Pay of Telecoms Civil engineer / Civil Gang – Telecoms Civil engineer will be working on a competitive day rate through a CIS setup. Job Description of Telecoms Civil Engineer / Civil Gang : – Civils Operatives perform various tasks, including digging trenches, moving building materials and tools, setting up signs and safety barriers, assisting with duct laying and road re-instatement. – Civils Operatives pay close attention to health and safety protocols, including wearing protective clothing and carrying out point of work risk assessments. – Good knowledge of NSWRA act & HAUC policies. – Past experience with prevention of Fixed penalty notices (FPN\’s) – Understanding of permitting / noticing and how that applies to site set ups. – Understanding of Health and Safety regulations ensuring it aligns with the clients\’ expectations. – Past experience dealing with track work, block-ages, box building etc. Key Requirements of Telecoms Civils Engineer / Civil Gang – Full UK driving license 6 points or less – BT Openreach experience with a Valid NOPS card with their up-to-date qualifications visible – NRSWA StreetWorks operative card with the appropriate reinstatement elements on it. – Civils Operatives will need to have NRSWA , SA006 and SA002 as a minimum. ยท – Mini digger licence is a bonus Telecoms fibre engineer physical requirements: – The ability to lift objects regularly – The ability to bend and stretch with comfort – The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
