About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Estimator to join our growing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in electrical infrastructure projects to play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates across a diverse portfolio of power and renewable energy schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for power infrastructure projects.
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to develop accurate pricing models.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Assess project risks and opportunities and incorporate these into tender submissions.
  • Support bid strategy development and contribute to successful tender outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, industry trends, and procurement practices.
  • Assist with handovers to operational teams following contract award.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the power sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure projects.
