Our client, a well-established precision engineering business, is currently seeking a CNC Turner to join their team.
The position is full time, permanent.
Salary: £16 - £19 per hour (dependent on experience).
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 1:00pm.
The role
- Programming, setting and operating 3 & 4 axis Doosan turning centres (Fanuc controls).
- Manufacturing precision components to specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
- Support and mentor apprentices where required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC turner.
- Experience programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC turning centres.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in the use of measuring equipment. xgikmsk
