Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client is a leading UK manufacturer supplying high-quality products to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team. The position is full time, permanent. Salary: Up to £40,000. Working hours: Monday to Thursday, rotating weekly between:
- Week 1: 6 am – 6 pm
- Week 2: 6 pm – 6 am
Duties:
- Monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions
- Carry out tooling changeovers
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine and quality issues
- Deliver effective end-of-shift handovers
- Produce high-quality moulded products
- Support start-up and shutdown of extrusion lines
- Maintain product quality in line with specifications
- Perform tool trials and support continuous improvement
- Minimise scrap and maximise production efficiency
- Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S)
- Record and monitor quality checks throughout each shift
- Follow operating procedures and setting sheets
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter
- Experience within the plastics industry is desirable but not essential
- Good knowledge of plastics, including their uses and properties
