Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client based in Bristol.
The position is full time, permanent.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Duties
- Maintain, support and continually improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Investigate internal and external non-conformances, customer complaints and quality issues to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Lead and support root cause analysis using appropriate problem-solving techniques, such as 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis.
- Plan and conduct internal audits.
- Monitor, analyse and report on quality performance data, identifying trends, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve quality-related issues and optimise processes.
- Develop, review and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions and inspection standards.
- Support the introduction of new products, processes and equipment through New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from a quality perspective.
- Assist with the creation and review of control plans, process risk assessments, FMEAs and inspection documentation.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation.
Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrable expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques, such as 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis
