For a large, complex international organisation operating in more than 80 currencies with over 80 banking partners in 100+ countries, we are recruiting an Interim Cash, Risk and Treasury Manager. Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, this role will implement all aspects of corporate treasury policy, processes, controls, analysis, and investment strategies, including cash management, financing, investment activities, risk management, and loss prevention. The interim Treasury Manager will build relationships with banks and seek ways to improve in-country banking and cash repatriation, including liquidity, cash forecasting, and debt management.
Main Duties:
- Manage banking platforms and processes, including the European zero balancing cash pool.
- Optimize cash flow and improve forecasting across the business, enhancing investment income in collaboration with Shared Services and Country Finance teams.
- Assist in identifying and releasing trapped cash overseas, working with in-country colleagues, the Tax and Status team, and Financial Control.
- Manage foreign currency liquidity requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of Treasury Management Policies and controls.
- Contribute to the development and execution of long-term investment strategies to maximize deposit interest income.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with banks and financial institutions to ensure banking arrangements are effective.
- Lead and support treasury activity changes and advise business units on commercial matters.
Person Specification:
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or ACT.
- Strong treasury management experience.
- Experience in assessing and managing financial risks, including FX, interest rates, and counterparty risks.
- Experience in managing FX exposures and understanding money market instruments.
- Experience with dealing platforms, ISDA, and loan documentation.
- Experience working with different regions on merchant services and payment provider issues.
- Extensive experience in cash activities, including security and monitoring investments.
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems; familiarity with 360T is desirable.
- Shared Services Operations experience.
- SAP experience.
