A Tax Accountant role for someone looking to work in a supportive and enjoyable work culture. Work closely with the Tax Reporting and Advisory Manager and progress your career.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the Group's tax reporting requirements, including interim and full-year consolidated financial statements.
- Support the outsourced UK tax compliance process, reviewing returns for a portfolio of entities and coordinating with external providers.
- Review overseas tax returns and local tax charges, working closely with international finance teams.
- Assist with Country-by-Country reporting and compliance with Pillar 2 tax regulations.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of tax postings and balances.
- Contribute to the tax input for cash tax forecasts and budgeting.
- Get involved in ad hoc M&A and restructuring projects, providing valuable tax insight.
- Support compliance with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) regulations, including sample testing and reporting findings.
- Handle ad-hoc tax-related queries, such as certificates of residency and FATCA documentation.
- Provide assistance to the Transfer Pricing and VAT teams on various matters.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a large company environment.
- Experience in tax reporting and compliance processes, preferably in the financial services sector.
- ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualified (or part-qualified).
