The firm has a strong reputation in the professional services sector, with around 50% of the audit portfolio consisting of professional services clients, alongside clients across industries including real estate, construction, technology, retail and media. The team operates in a collaborative, people-focused environment where individuals are encouraged to take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice.

  • Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion
  • Acting as the main contact for a portfolio of clients, including law firms and accountancy practices
  • Conducting and overseeing on-site audit reviews where required

  • Planning engagements to ensure audits are delivered efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Providing coaching, feedback and support to junior team members
  • Supporting the firm's growth through business development activity, including pitches and identifying opportunities within existing clients

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Currently operating at Audit Manager level within practice
  • Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
  • Experience working within a general practice environment
  • Proven experience auditing professional firms, ideally including law firms and accountancy practices
  • Experience managing multiple audits and deadlines
  • Commercially minded with an interest in client relationships and business development
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members
  • Experience carrying out SRA Accounts Rules Reviews or similar client money audits
