We are supporting a highly respected independent accountancy firm with the appointment of an Audit Partner for its office in Hertfordshire. This firm has built a strong reputation over several decades, combining consistent growth, national capability and multiple industry accolades with a culture that remains personable, entrepreneurial and client focused.
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the audit practice as a key strategic hire within the senior leadership team.
- Develop and accelerate growth, focusing on expanding the audit offering and contributing to go-to-market strategy.
- Manage a selective, high-quality client portfolio while driving business development and identifying opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, prospects and professional referrers at a senior level.
- Collaborate with fellow partners to influence firm-wide strategy, leadership and culture.
- Mentor and develop teams, maintain high technical standards and foster a positive, high-performance environment.
- Enhance brand visibility and strengthen profile across sectors including manufacturing, wholesale, charities and financial services, primarily for owner-managed and mid-market organisations.
- Support development of a cohesive national audit team and contribute to overall strategy and growth of the firm.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Established Audit Partner or senior Audit Director (RI) ready for partnership, with commercial drive and credible market presence.
- Strong leadership style and collaborative approach; ability to work with fellow partners and influence firm direction.
- Proven capability in business development, client relationship management at senior levels, and go-to-market activities.
