An established and growing Corporate Finance team within a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager (Transaction Services) to support its expanding deal pipeline. The firm has a clear strategy to significantly develop its Corporate Finance and Transaction Services offering, with a strong focus on raising market profile and continuing to win high-quality mandates. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter who wants early responsibility, direct client exposure, and the chance to work closely with senior leadership on a wide range of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Vendor due diligence
- Buy-side (pre-acquisition / pre-investment) due diligence
- Vendor assist
- Pre-lend reviews
- Reporting Accountant roles on IPOs
- Take day-to-day responsibility for individual due diligence projects, reporting to the Partner and/or Director
- Manage transaction timelines and budgets
- Scope assignments and assist with fee budgeting
- Lead and develop teams to deliver high-quality analysis and draft reports
- Liaise with internal specialists (e.g. tax, audit, advisory) as required
- Work closely with clients and their advisers (lawyers, lenders, corporate finance advisers)
- Assist Partners/Directors with presenting findings to clients
- Contribute to internal processes, tools, and team development
- Support business development initiatives and marketing activity
- Build strong internal and external relationships
- Assist with proposals, pitch materials, and presentations
- Participate in networking events and early-stage client meetings
- Monitor market activity and identify potential opportunities
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Prior experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence is essential
- Proven track record of leading TS engagements and producing due diligence reports
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- High-quality report writing and presentation ability
- Confident managing projects, stakeholders, and junior team members
- Commercially astute, proactive, and comfortable in a client-facing role
