Recognised as one of the UK's leading accountancy and advisory firms, our client is looking to appoint an Audit Partner to support the continued growth of its Thames Valley & West practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and market-facing leader to join a well-established team with the Thames Valley & West practice, based in either Reading or Bristol.
Working with a diverse range of clients, from fast-growing businesses and private equity-backed organisations to established corporates and international groups, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, driving growth opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop relationships across a diverse portfolio of audit clients.
- Act as a trusted adviser to boards, executive teams and key stakeholders.
- Drive business development activity and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Deliver high-quality audit engagements while maintaining regulatory and professional standards.
- Collaborate across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to provide integrated client solutions.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the Thames Valley & West practice.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
- Extensive audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
- Proven track record of leading complex audit engagements and managing senior client relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrable success in business development and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a strong commercial mindset.
