The Audit Senior Manager Role

As an Audit Senior Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of Financial Services clients, taking ownership of delivery, client relationships, and team development. You'll also play a key role in driving the growth and evolution of the Financial Services offering. You’ll work closely with partners while helping to shape strategy, support junior talent, and ensure the highest audit standards across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of Financial Services audit clients
  • Leading audits in line with IFRS / UK GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Providing practical guidance on areas such as governance, tax, and VAT
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, building strong, lasting relationships
  • Driving revenue, profitability, and WIP management across your portfolio
  • Supporting partners on strategic initiatives and team planning
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior staff

About You

You’ll be a confident and commercially aware Financial Services audit professional, comfortable leading engagements and engaging with senior stakeholders. Ideal experience includes:

  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Strong background in Financial Services audit
  • Experience or exposure to CASS audits
  • Solid technical knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP
  • Proven ability to manage teams and client relationships
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
