The Audit Manager Role
- Manage your own portfolio, lead audit assignments, and mentor a growing team.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing audits from planning through to completion
- Reviewing accounts and tax computations (approx. 70% audit / 30% accounts)
- Leading, coaching, and developing junior staff
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients
- Supporting business development and contributing to proposals
- Getting involved in firm-wide projects such as recruitment and marketing
About You
- We’re looking for an Audit Manager who combines technical excellence with leadership skills:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 (IFRS experience an advantage)
- Confident people manager and mentor
- Commercially aware and proactive with clients
- Experienced with CaseWare or similar audit software
