An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join a leading accounting firm that is fuelling the growth of ambitious businesses. With a fast-paced environment and a clear mission to be the UK’s leading tech-enabled accounting firm for SMEs, this firm is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team.

  • 35 hours per week (hybrid role with up to 50% remote work).
  • 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Your role as an Audit Associate Director:

  • Take full responsibility for managing your own client portfolio, working closely with partners and listed clients to deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee audits from start to finish, ensure compliance with listing requirements, and act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage relationships with CFOs, CEOs, and boards, and support the growth of the firm by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing a client portfolio, including listed companies.
  • Plan and deliver audits on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Provide expert advice on technical matters, particularly in more complex regulatory environments.
  • Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Manage, mentor, and train team members, ensuring their ongoing development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with deep technical expertise.
  • Existing experience of managing a portfolio of listed clients.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the reporting and compliance requirements for listed companies.
  • Excellent project management abilities, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects.
