We are partnering with a well-established and growing London-based accountancy firm seeking an ambitious Executive to join its Business Accounting & Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure across statutory accounts, outsourcing and advisory within a high-quality and progressive environment. You will join a collaborative team delivering services to a varied portfolio of corporate clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 105)
  • Preparation of management accounts for outsourcing clients
  • VAT return preparation and submission
  • Bookkeeping using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes
  • Basic corporation tax computations
  • Managing client relationships and acting as day-to-day contact
  • Identifying value-add and cross-selling opportunities
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Managing time, budgets and multiple assignments effectively

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client assignments
  • Confident working across multiple accounting software platforms
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
