We are partnering with a well-established and growing London-based accountancy firm seeking an ambitious Executive to join its Business Accounting & Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure across statutory accounts, outsourcing and advisory within a high-quality and progressive environment. You will join a collaborative team delivering services to a varied portfolio of corporate clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 105)
- Preparation of management accounts for outsourcing clients
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Bookkeeping using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes
- Basic corporation tax computations
- Managing client relationships and acting as day-to-day contact
- Identifying value-add and cross-selling opportunities
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Managing time, budgets and multiple assignments effectively
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client assignments
- Confident working across multiple accounting software platforms
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
