Financial Services has been identified as a key investment area for the firm, with senior leadership fully committed to scaling the offering and bringing in high-calibre external talent to drive the next phase of growth.
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious FS Tax leader—either an established Partner or a Director ready to step up—who is keen to make a genuine impact in a market-facing, growth-oriented environment.
The Opportunity
You will join a highly regarded and well-established FS Tax team of over 100 professionals, working alongside a collaborative and engaged partner group. The team operates across a broad FS client base including banking, fintech, insurance, asset management and private equity, delivering both compliance and high-end advisory solutions.
The platform is already strong, particularly within asset management, and is now entering an exciting growth phase—targeting a significant scale-up of the banking, fintech and insurance offering over the next three years. There is immediate work to inherit, alongside a strong internal pipeline and referral network.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with other tax disciplines (VAT, TP, M&A) and the wider FS group
- Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the FS tax offering
Strategic Growth & Platform
The FS team is central to the firm’s growth strategy, with clear and ambitious targets. The team structure includes dedicated corporate tax and funds specialists, supported by a full suite of tax capabilities. There is also a growing regional presence, enhancing national coverage.
The Candidate

- Strong FS tax experience across banking, fintech and/or insurance
- A market-facing professional with an established network and proven ability to win and develop business
- Commercially minded, collaborative and growth-focused
- Ideally operating at Director level ready to step into Partnership, or an existing Partner seeking a stronger growth platform
- (For insurance specialists, a broad/generalist background would be particularly attractive to complement the existing partner group.)
Culture & Leadership
The culture within the FS team is a genuine differentiator—highly collaborative, inclusive and supportive, with strong engagement from Partners across all levels. Retention is excellent, and the team benefits from regular social interaction and a cohesive working environment.
The FS strategy is led by a highly invested leadership team, ensuring clear direction, strong support, and continued investment in people and infrastructure.
