This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage the firm’s Deals Tax team, advising on corporate restructurings, company disposals and acquisitions, including planning around international tax matters such as structuring for overseas group expansion and minimising exposure to withholding taxes.
You will build and maintain strong client relationships, provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, and play a key role in driving business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base.
You will be part of a close knit and well respected team that have ambitious and exciting growth plans ahead which you will be at the helm of. As Partner in this team, you will have full autonomy to steer this team in your direction, reporting directly to the Managing Partner; removing unnecessary red tape.
Ideally you will not only be technically strong and a business leader, but also a business generator and as such commercially minded to drive the practice forward, generating further revenue. You should have proven experience but also an entrepreneurial spirit to drive you to grow and lead this team.
Whilst there is a 'warm' portfolio to step into, there will be ample opportunities to work with other areas of the business for internal referrals, utilising relationships and being a brand ambassador.
