We are partnered with a global, expanding financial services business in recruiting for a quickly available international tax professional to join their London-based tax team on a 15 month FTC. Working in a small and intimate tax team, the International Tax Manager will report directly to, and work closely with the Head of Tax.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for oversight and review of (outsourced) income tax return completion (UK & International) including all related analysis and support
- Review tax workings and disclosures, ensuring accuracy & compliance
- Responding to tax queries for the global business across a full spectrum of corporate and international tax matters
- Supporting with tax issues for M&A, restructuring, Pillar II, and tax projects as directed by the Head of Tax
- Liaison with external tax advisors and authorities
- Supporting in the development and optimisation of systems, policies and procedures
- Support the Transformation team providing tax input to planning and implementation of new finance systems
- Prepare, manage and monitor quarterly tax payments for UK and certain international subsidiaries
The successful candidate:
- A direct tax specialist with a background in the financial services (open to professional services or in-house backgrounds)
- Solid international tax skillset, including CFCs, DPT, withholding taxes, TP and Pillar II
- Some level of experience for tax accounting/reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS
- The right to work in the UK is required for this post
