This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly acquisitive group of companies operating in the Insurance sector. Work on the pre/post acquisition and deals tax aspects of this team and oversee the outsourcing of tax compliance. You will join the Head of Tax and support every aspect of the tax reporting, advisory and deals activity in the group, plus overseeing the outsourced tax compliance provision, assessing its efficacy and value for money.
No in house roles are completely absent of reporting and compliance responsibilities, but very few have such a need for M&A Tax skills, so this role represents a great opportunity to broaden your CV and build a career in house. You will have UK direct tax experience and knowledge; however, the real key to this role is European Tax knowledge, project management and the ability to manage relationships across the continent.
