A UK financial services business is seeking FTC cover for a Group Tax Manager role. Reporting directly to a senior finance leader and working closely with outsourced advisors and the international tax team, the successful applicant will hold a broadly focused position in a small tax team, covering the full spectrum of UK tax matters (aside from employment taxes).
This role is focused on tax compliance oversight, advisory, and business partnering. This is a small, collegiate tax team with a strong flexibility offering, best suited to the broadly experienced tax professional who is prioritising work-life balance and a positive team environment.
The successful applicant:
- UK corporation tax experience, with experience of working with both current and deferred taxes
- While much of the compliance is outsourced here, prior experience in a ‘doing’ role is considered advantageous.
- Strong communication skills; able to liaise with finance and commercial stakeholders, advisors and overseas teams.
- The right to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship requirements.
- ACA/CTA qualification advantageous but not essential.
