A global, specialist financial services organisation will be appointing an International Tax Manager to add to their established and growing team, based in the City of London. Reporting directly to the Head of Direct Tax, the successful candidate will hold a varied set of responsibilities focused primarily on corporate and international tax advisory matters, with a minority element of tax compliance oversight.
We anticipate this position is likely to best suit an ambitious and recently ACA/CTA qualified tax professional who is technically inclined and experienced with UK or international tax advisory work. This is a wonderful in-house opportunity to join a high-profile, reputable team with solid career prospects.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Advising on technical tax matters (including TP elements) relating to the group
- Managing direct tax technical analysis and contributing to input around specific tax queries and projects as necessary
- Proactively managing tax risks and providing tax technical support and advice to operations and international stakeholders
- Oversight of corporate tax computations and returns (UK & international)
The successful candidate:
- CTA/ACA qualification essential
- Solid grounding in UK and international corporation taxes
- Prior experience with tax advisory in a commercial/client-facing capacity is considered advantageous
- Prior financial services experience essential
