Audit and Accounts Manager – Up to £75k

Audit and Accounts Manager Opportunity

This is more than just an Audit Manager role – it\’s your chance to join a firm that values people and relationships just as much as technical expertise. You\’ll take charge of a diverse client portfolio spanning renewable energy, property investment, and private equity-backed businesses, offering a mix of audit, accounts, and advisory work.

You’ll lead from the front, managing a team of around six direct reports and supporting a wider team of 20 trainees. The work is challenging and varied – no two days will be the same – and you\’ll have the autonomy and support to make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing audits from planning to completion – around 70% of the role
• Overseeing accounts preparation and corporation tax compliance – around 30% of the role
• Managing complex group consolidations and providing strategic advice to clients
• Developing and mentoring your team, helping them grow and succeed
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships and delivering top‑tier service
• Identifying opportunities to expand client engagements and drive business growth

What We’re Looking For

• ACA/ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience
• Strong technical background in audit, accounts, and corporation tax
• Proven experience managing a varied client portfolio
• Excellent client service skills – this firm is all about building long‑term relationships
• Experience leading and developing a team – you\’ll be shaping the next generation of talent
