We are seeking a Healthcare Application Solution Designer to lead the design of healthcare applications within NHS Trust environments. The role focuses on application architecture, integration and functional solution design, rather than infrastructure or network technical engineering, or local infrastructure.
You will provide hands-on solution design, collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet clinical, operational, and compliance requirements.
- Lead the architecture and design of NHS healthcare applications, ensuring alignment with Trust strategies and compliance standards.
- Assess, design, and implement application upgrade and modernisation strategies.
- Oversee solution design documentation, presenting to Architecture Review Boards as required.
- Support data transformation, integration, and analytics where relevant to application functionality.
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of applications.
Proven expertise in NHS Trust IT and healthcare application environments using HL7 – e.g. strong solution architecture experience focused on healthcare applications, including upgrade and modernisation projects. Hands-on application design experience, including functional, integration, and interface aspects.
