We are seeking a Blood Sciences Subject Matter Expert, covering Biochemistry and Haematology, to support a laboratory IT system deployment within a healthcare setting. This is a hands-on advisory role for a genuine laboratory expert - someone who knows Blood Sciences operations inside out and has been through a LIMS deployment before. You will review and advise on standard operating procedures, training, and testing, making sure the system works for the people using it day to day.

This is a fast-paced environment that needs a real doer, not a commentator. Sleeves rolled up, into the detail, driving your area forward with minimal direction.

Must have the following:

  • Deep laboratory expertise across Blood Sciences - Biochemistry and Haematology
  • Proven hands-on involvement in LIMS deployment projects within a laboratory setting
  • Practical experience reviewing and advising on SOPs, training, and testing
  • A proactive, hands-on "doer" approach with diligence and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to work with laboratory teams and project staff
  • Availability for regular on site presence in the South. Details available post-application.

Please do not apply if:

  • You are not a practising or recently practising Blood Sciences laboratory expert
  • You have no hands-on LIMS deployment project experience
  • You are an advisor or consultant who will not get into the detail
  • You cannot commit to regular on site presence in the South

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE FOLLOW: Applications must only be made via the link in this advertisement and NOT through other channels such as emails, mobile, socials, scheduling calls from our PRO PMs website booking tool or calling us via PRO PMs website contact details. We guarantee that every CV application will be viewed, assessed fairly and as such, please do not call for a status. Once an initial shortlist has been established, we do however guarantee to provide accurate feedback once any conversations have commenced with any candidates, and we are very transparent and timely about status and progress from that point forwards. Initiating direct contact will not benefit your application, it detracts on time for all and would introduce a bias into the process which we do not support. It can negatively affect your application as these instructions are clear. This is to assist all applicants and the client in a swift efficient sourcing process to find the highest calibre contractor suited for the stated requirements.
