Are you ready to take charge and drive results on the production floor? Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our chefs work with our customers and have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals. We’re looking for a dynamic, hands‑on Production Operations Supervisor to lead frontline operations, optimise production flow and energise the team to exceed performance targets. This isn’t just another supervisory role - it’s a chance to make real impact in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment where leadership matters every single day.
Production Operations Supervisor role responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating your team of production operatives and cell leader to meet daily production goals.
- Monitoring and managing production KPIs - quality, output, safety and efficiency.
- Collaborating with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve issues fast.
- Drive improvements through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Coach, train and develop your team members - building a high-performance culture.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, health and environmental standards.
Desired knowledge, skills and experience required:
- L3 Food and Drink Technical Operator Qualification or equivalent experience
- Can evidence supervisor experience (minimum team size of 20)
- Proven experience of change implementation where manufacturing standards are improved
- Experience of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Experience of Manufacturing Work Order Management Systems
- HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualified
- Health and Safety Level 3 qualified
- Experience of coaching and mentoring a team to deliver results
- Excels in a fast paced environment
