Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our chefs work with our customers and have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals. To help support our growth plans, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join our fantastic team.

In this role, you will support the running of the factory and will resolve breakdowns and deliver planned maintenance. You will also be required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality and performance.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance work
  • Working to ensure continuous improvement across the site
  • Working with an implemented PPM schedule alongside breakdown activity
  • Delivering all operational mechanical and electrical support on site
  • Conducting fault diagnosis, breakdown cover and equipment installation
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has a desire to learn

  • Shows initiative and supports change implementation.
Skills & experience required:
  • Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical & mechanical relevant professional qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC etc)
  • HACCP and GMP qualification
  • Safe systems of working
  • Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment, using LEAN tools such as TMP
  • Knowledge and understanding of OEE.
