Requirements:
- Valid NMC Registration
- Minimum 6 months recent NHS ITU/ICU experience
- Competent in caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and support
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorships offered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care to critically ill and complex patients within the Intensive Therapy Unit
- Monitor, assess, and respond appropriately to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Manage and maintain advanced life support equipment, including ventilators and invasive monitoring devices
- Administer medications, infusions, and critical care treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate effectively with consultants, anaesthetists, critical care teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC, Trust, and CQC standards
- Support patients and their families with compassionate communication during challenging and often critical situations
- Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding, and clinical governance policies at all times
